We attended The Sorcerer's Scone event and it was wonderful! A fun, interactive, magic show paired with a delicious cup of tea, great tea sandwiches, a yummy scone and other desserts. The event had so many creative, sweet, little details and the magic was, well, magical!! Matthew is such a great host! He is welcoming to everyone and creates a fun atmosphere. White Branches is a wonderful place to go for their amazing afternoon tea or one of their many shows! We can't wait to go back!

This is a wonderful and beautiful tea place. Great selection of teas. The sandwiches and desserts are top notch. We always get great service (shout out to Angel!) and have good to take home. Highly recommend!

I treated my mom to a belated Mother's Day afternoon tea at White Branches, and I can honestly say it was one of the most delightful experiences we've had together. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with genuine kindness. Both the hostess and our waitress were incredibly welcoming and knowledgeable, helping us navigate the tea menu. On their recommendation, I tried an elevated Earl Grey blend, and it was absolutely delicious! The afternoon tea itself was wonderful. Every tier was filled with a thoughtful variety of sweet and savory treatsβ€”from fresh finger sandwiches to warm baked goodies and beautiful little desserts. Everything tasted fresh, and there was something new to enjoy with every bite. The atmosphere is pure magic. It feels like stepping into a whimsical storybook where Alice in Wonderland meets vintage elegance and eclectic charm. Everywhere you look, there's another delightful detail to admire. There are even little shops to purchase accessories, jewelery, books etc. I took home the most adorable orchid facinator! One of the highlights was meeting the owner. He took the time to give us a tour, share the inspiration behind each themed space, and explain

If I could give Matthew & β€œWhite Branches” 100 stars I would. I come to Washington once a year from NC to see family. Today we were celebrating my Aunts 83rd bday and surprised her with a high tea at White Branches. It feels like a blend of Mad Hatter meets cabaret meets the coolest laid back vintage circus performance. We had the best time. The food and tea was amazing. I was able to have my own vegetarian tier too. We will 1000% be back on our next trip. Thank you for the great hospitality Matthew!!! We are now your #1 fans.

A cabaret theater/tearoom combo is an ingenious concept that's right up my theatrical, tea-loving alley. I had the pleasure of experiencing the tea room with a good friend earlier this month, and I was in awe the entire visit. Once we rode up the building's elevator and left the first floor (and reality) behind, it felt like we had stepped into a mesmerizing, otherworldly realm, part storybook, part circus, part dream. The tea itself was a delicious feast, and the decor was a gorgeous feast for the eyes. Photos don't completely do the place justice. White Branches is an immersive, scrumptious, wholly original delight, and I cannot wait to go back. What a wonderful find in Mount Vernon!
